Recently, an officer from another agency showed me an issue he was dealing with; he had nowhere convenient or secure to place a radar remote while driving. It might seem minor, but when you’re trying to focus on the road and the situation around you, those small frustrations add up.
So I went home, designed a simple holder, and printed it. Then I made a few more for my officers and others.
That’s how I approach this job.
Listen to the people doing the work. Find practical solutions. Making their job safer and more efficient.
That’s what leadership looks like to me: being approachable, listening, and finding practical ways to support the people who serve our community every day.
